Fresh and Fruity

Hi Everybody!
Thanks for coming back for my latest post.

This is a photo of the first piece of artwork that I created.

I made it at an art class named Art is Our Passion.  It's out in Agoura Hills.  I used to take classes there on Mondays when I was in first grade.

I chose the pear and banana because they are my favorite kinds of fruit.  I first drew the pear and banana with a pencil and then filled in the color with chalk pastels.

I entered the picture in an art contest and won a third place medal.

A Little Bit About Me

Welcome to my blog, my name is Mallory.

I'm the oldest of 3 kids.  I have a younger brother, Sean, and a younger sister, Hannah.

My mom is a second grade teacher and my dad makes TV shows.

I love to read.  My favorite book is "Fudge-a-mania" by Judy Blume and right now, I'm reading "Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief."  Art is also something that I love.  Along with my posts, I'll also put up a couple of my favorite pictures that I've drawn and ones that I've seen in museums too.

This year, I'm also starting piano lessons because we got a piano at our house.  It used to belong to my Great Grandma.
